Choose the temporary Affinity System! - WindStrike - 10-12-2015

Due to issues with the current Affinity System, and after discussing various other possible candidates from this thread, we may be temporarily switching to a different one. Why temporarily? When we do the rewrites for the spells, hopefully arriving in January, we're going to be placing the supposed Affinity Bonuses & Losses directly into the spells themselves (or whatever the heck we call them by then), rather than as a passive in the rules. However, until then, I'd like to have an Affinity System that, for at least the time being, satisfies... enough.


Below is a list of three choices. I'm not listing an option for "Other" because that was already discussed in this thread.



1 - Current System
2 - Baseline System
3 - Old Version Before Hiatus with x2 Multiplier




Vote for the one you like most, or if you don't care, then you don't have to vote. In one week (October 19th by 8:45pm CST), this poll will automatically be closed. Whichever has the most votes by then is the Affinity System we'll use until the spell rewrites.

EDIT: Due to tutorial/quest scheduling shenanigans, we're shifting the poll close date to Thursday, October 15th by 8:45pm CST.

The poll is over! With 6 votes to the Baseline System, it shall be the temporary system we use until the spell rewrites goes into effect. The Rules & Knowledge has been updated. The Combat Tutorial will get the update tomorrow, as it's got more than just an affinity system adjustment that it needs.
