At the end of February, my game Element TD 2 got released onto Steam Early Access. Since then, my work for the game went from roughly 20-30 hours a week to a full time job, plus overtime each time we crunch to get something big added. Prior to this game release, I was able to squeeze in decent time each week to work on the final quest for ZURPG. But post-release? Hardly anything.
Realistically, I won't be able to commit any more time into quest work. What I have so far are a good number of simplistic enemy designs + overall design workings of the whole quest. I was hoping to actually run this sucker in full, but by the time I get around to it, it'll probably be next year. So, in order to actually run this thing and finish the bloody game, I'm going to have to run a skimmed down version of what I intended.
It sucks that I won't be able to run this at the full scale I had in mind, but in the interests of getting it run at all, this is what I'll have to do so we can finish ZURPG once and for all. I'll need to brush up on my writing skills as well, as I've noticed heavy game dev and little writing time has deteriorated my skills.
Lastly, scheduling wise, I can run this once a week, either on Sundays or Mondays. The rest of my days are usually reserved for work on Element TD 2. I don't know how long this quest will go for despite the skimming, but it should be finished by the end of the year, hopefully sooner.
Look forward to starting this back up soon[/valve-time], for one last hurrah!

- Scaling down the overall quest size
- I don't have the time to complete the rest of the work properly, so the only way I'll be able to run this is run it loose and fast. Use the stuff in your profiles, but expect to freeform things more often.
- "Fancy new items" may end up just being a paragraph of text, plus some slapdash on-the-fly rules.
- Enemy profiles won't exist for all the enemies, especially the boss enemies.
