Version: A Quick Update:

The Compendium has recently been updated with a bunch of Lost Spells and Lost skills for players to use their Lost Scrolls on. These new additions can be seen here (sidenote: Why has nearly every Lost Spell that's been added since the the launch of the Lost Spell system been Shadow? That's gonna get fixed with the next quest).

Also, the Ballad of the Windfish has been updated. If anyone had the Ballad of the Windfish embedded into their instruments, you now remove it from the instrument and grab the updated version here

Ballad of the Windfish
  • RESTRICTIONS: Ballad of the Windfish can only be taught to people by those holding either the Surf Ocarina or one of the Sirens' Instruments.
  • REQUIREMENTS: 5 Power, Courage and Wisdom
  • DESCRIPTION: A soft and soothing melody, evoking the power of dreams and drowsiness. It causes drowsiness and can open up a portal into someone's dream if being sung or played by one of a set of specific Artifacts.
    • EFFECT: Both the following abilities bypass (but don't break) Cover
    • Ballad of the Windfish:
      • Roll your instruments' stat vs target's Wisdom
        • Damage: None
        • EFFECT: Target(s) hit become affected by the Ballad of the Windfish for as long as you continue playing this song:
          • Targets affected lose 5 Dice on all rolls made in combat
          • Targets affected also loses 10 Dice on all rolls made Out of Combat.
          • DURATION: Ballad of the Windfish lasts until you attack, defend, or play a different song.
    • Enter Dream:
      • RESTRICTIONS: Can only affect someone who is asleep or is already affected by the Ballad of the Windfish
      • REQUIREMENTS: 15 Wisdom and either wearing the Seashell Earrings or playing on any Mythical or Legendary instruments
      • DESCRIPTION: Once the target is asleep or dreamy, you can open up a portal and enter their dreams.
        • FYI: This does not cancel out Ballad of the Windfish. You can continue playing it as a channeled move afterwards
        • Roll your instruments' stat vs targets Wisdom
        • Damage: None.
        • EFFECT: If successful, the target falls asleep (if they haven't already) and a portal opens up into the targets' dream. What happens in the dream is happens at the DM's Discretion
        • DURATION: Until it is either stopped manually, target somehow wakes up or until you die.

A few fixes:
  • Nayru's Protection no longer cancels itself out on literally everything.
  • Heavy Shield bonus to shield attacks increased from +3 to +5.
  • Limit Armor's effect now only procs at 40+ Dice, cause seriously... 30 is the new average attack, lol.



Nayru's Protection
  • SELL VALUE: 300 Rupees
  • COSTS: 6 Magic
  • DESCRIPTION: With Nayru's Blessing, use your Arcane energies to create a thin, blue, crystal shield around a target.
    • EFFECT: The next Negative Bonus or Named Effect (caused by an enemy) to affect the target is negated.

Heavy Shield
  • SELL VALUE: 125 Rupees
  • REQUIREMENTS: Two-Handed
  • DESCRIPTION: It's considerably heavier than most shields, but it packs an extra punch with shield-based attacks as a result.
    • Defense Dice: +5
    • Attack Dice: +5 with shield-based attacks

Limit Armor
  • SELL VALUE: 125 Rupees
  • DESCRIPTION: A lightweight set of Armor that compresses as the wearer is attacked by a strong or accurate attack.
    • Armor: +2
    • EFFECT: If you are targeted by an attack that has an attacking roll of at least 40 Dice, the Armor bonus this Armor provides increases from +2 to +8 for the duration of the attack.

A small update:
Double Bash and Skull Bash have had their REQUIREMENTS wording updated to indicate that the shields must be equipped to use them.

A bunch of Support Skills have been added to the Global Shop. These are a bunch of small skills which helps expand the small pool of Support Skills to include some potentially useful no-drawback abilities.
On addition, a new shield-based Offensive Skill, Parry Bash has been added. Designed to give players who run double shields another option outside of magic, it temporarily weakens the offenses of whoever is hit by the attack.

Updates? This late in the game's life cycle?
Here's a bunch of small updates to things

Damage Recovery? Never heard of that. It has been buffed so it will now be actually usable and especially in the current state of the game. The cap on recovery is now 20 Magic as opposed to 6 Magic from before. On the players' end of things, you are unlikely to hit the cap unless you take a big hit and survive. Maybe now you will hear of it now with all this stuff going back and forth.
In light of bosses with really high Hearts and Magic abusing Potions, they have been nerfed to include caps on the amount of Hearts and/or Magic healed. These caps are too high for most players to actually reach unless you super min-maxed your stats, but sufficiently low for bosses to be unable to straight up abuse them.
