Partial Rolling Enabled - WindStrike - 10-14-2014

So there hasn't been a clear ruling on this, but I just streamlined the FAQ and added the following ruling:

Partial Rolling
  • Can I roll an amount less than my actual dice roll?
    • Yes. You can even choose not to roll at all.



Some random updates with regards to the Compendium.
  • This is more than a format update after all. Several multi-purpose spells are being split up into two spells, one being Offensive and the other being Support. So far, I've done this to Lightning Stream, Solar Prism, and Negative Beam.
  • You know the whole alpha, beta, gamma shtick? It's being redone to simple numbers, so instead of Fireball, Fireball Alpha, and Fireball Beta, it'll just be Fireball 1, Fireball 2, and Fireball 3.
    • All spells are going to get this scaling treatment.
    • All spells that get the scaling treatment now also increase in Magic Cost as they go. This means various higher-tier versions of spells have also grown more potent than before.
  • I just added an awesome Passive Skill to the Hylian Shop and the current Changelog Shop called Retaliate. Combined with being able to intentionally do partial rolls, Counterattacks should be a lot more prominent now. And yes, I'm going to start throwing this skill onto enemies.


I'm hoping to have the Compendium completely updated by the end of the year. Yeah, there's that much stuff. I'll try to get profiles updated before then though, possibly by the end of the month. Happy counterattacking, folks!
