Priority Shift - WindStrike - 09-12-2014

ZURPG is currently in a bit of dead zone for two reasons:
  • I'm working on larger quest projects, which is delayed due to work shenanigans and trying to make the place not a dead zone.
  • We don't have anyone else running quests at the moment.

So, in an effort to pull ZURPG out of a dead zone and enable me to eventually work on said larger quest projects...

I am placing all larger quest projects I have on hold.

In the meantime, I'm going back to running 2 to 3 sessions a week, with quest lengths varying from 2 to 4 sessions. The idea is numerous quests to maintain activity within the game and within each player group, many of which have been pretty inactive. As a result of these quests, there should be a good amount of content update around the place, as I intend on revisiting existing shops and introducing new shops, as well as other experiments I'd like to try.

However, I don't want to be the only person putting quests out there, or else I'm never getting to any large-scale future goals I'm aiming for. I've put up a Help Board. Here, you can put up requests for help, as well as help others. This is for making content, quests, or even requesting someone else to DM your quest. If you have any interest at all in making/running quests, but you're not confident in your abilities, focus your quests around what you are good at, and for the things you're not so sure of, just ask.

It has also been brought to my attention that ZURPG has no actual bloody plot. Premise? Yes. Some set up stuff? Yeah, more of that. An actual plot? Been too reluctant of it.

Guess I should fix that while doing these smaller quests, huh?
