NPC Voices - WindStrike - 02-12-2014 A good number of you have heard me in voicechat, and many people in life have heard me try to speak in different voices. Some have told me I should totally get into voice acting. I personally have never really considered it, but... I've found there's some really fun things I'm trying to voice for ZURPG. So, my question is... should I attach a voice sample to any NPC that shows up? Like, record me saying a few lines and put it up for others to listen to? RE: NPC Voices - Lightwulf - 02-14-2014 If I were in your shoes, I would totally do it! I love voice acting; I do it all the time when reading stories out loud. So, as long as you feel comfortable doing it, do it! Suggestion: I think it would be a good idea to have the quote typed next to where people will click on it to hear it. That way, if someone doesn't understand a word that's said, they'd be able to see what the word is supposed to be so there's no confusion. |
