Scrolls Update - WindStrike - 12-09-2013

Scrolls have been updated recently with a number of changes:
  • Reformatted; instead of having different scroll numbers and choosing between two specific bonuses and spells, you're now picking between a set of bonuses and spells, listed by affinity. However, it is not hard to alter it to be between two specific ones.
  • They all scale by level now, so spells aren't locked into a set amount that may be less useful later on.
  • Various fixes and rebalances.
  • I'm still working up Arcane Scrolls, but expect them to come out soon.


All existing Bonuses from scrolls can stay; you are more than welcome to update it if you want with any level variant. Likewise, all existing Spells from scrolls can stay and you can update those with any level variant you'd like... except Phase Out - I'm am forcing that to be updated, so if you have it, please update it to whichever level variant you want. It's one of the Shadow Scroll spells.


All existing Scrolls are going to be updated. If you had any number Light Scroll, it's going to be converted to an Endowed Light Scroll. Same with the rest of the affinities to their respective affinities. Below are the Endowed Scrolls.


Endowed Fire Scroll
  • A scroll with letters inscribed with burning ink. Choose one of the two below from the Scroll List.
    • It can give you any Fire Bonus to an item.
    • It can teach you any Fire Spell.
  • Once this scroll is used, the burning ink sets the scroll ablaze, consuming it in fire.
Add Endowed Fire Scroll to your Misc
Endowed Nature Scroll
  • A scroll with living letters that sprout leaves and vines. Choose one of the two below from the Scroll List.
    • It can give you any Nature Bonus to an item.
    • It can teach you any Nature Spell.
  • Once this scroll is used, the scroll turns to dirt and decomposes into the earth.
Add Endowed Nature Scroll to your Misc
Endowed Water Scroll
  • A scroll with liquid writing that rolls around the parchment. Choose one of the two below from the Scroll List.
    • It can give you any Water Bonus to an item.
    • It can teach you any Water Spell.
  • Once this scroll is used, the scroll evaporates into the air.
Add Endowed Water Scroll to your Misc
Endowed Light Scroll
  • A scroll with letters that shine brightly, even in the darkness. Choose one of the two below from the Scroll List.
    • It can give you any Light Bonus to an item.
    • It can teach you any Light Spell.
  • Once this scroll is used, it disappears in a flash of light, illuminating the area for a few seconds.
Add Endowed Light Scroll to your Misc
Endowed Shadow Scroll
  • A scroll with letters that phase in an out of reality. Choose one of the two below from the Scroll List.
    • It can give you any Shadow Bonus to an item.
    • It can teach you any Shadow Spell.
  • Once this scroll is used, the scroll warps in on itself and fades from existence.
