HD Delayed - WindStrike - 10-11-2013

So, between redesigns, delays due to working on other stuff, and how my schedule is looking through December, I'm going to be delaying Hidden Duality to the start of January. In terms of redesigns, while the main point of HD was for me to expand substantially on the roleplaying end of ZURPG and how much influence players get in the progression of the story, I ended up neglecting the actual gameplay of it, so I'm doing some redesigns in that aspect. I'll be running a few quests that are primarily gameplay based over the next few months as a means of experimentation, trial and error so that HD comes out awesome in both gameplay and roleplay aspects.

There's also a number of other things that I'm behind on and they're things that really need updates/things that need to be added. Here's a brief list of big things:
  • Enemy Database update
  • Crafting System (enhancement only)
  • Level 30 stuff
  • Ascended Rings
  • Various system suggestions
Not to mention that I'm also having to constantly help other DMs with their quests.

And lastly, and this actually the biggest reason, is scheduling. This month, the grocery store I'm working at is doing a grand reopening, meaning I'm more busy. Next month has Thanksgiving, meaning more busy. And December, from what I've heard from co-workers, is also bloody crazy. Additionally, I'm trying to apply for another part time job to increase my hours so that I can fully support myself without an support from my parents.

Speaking of December, this is a heads up... the week of Christmas, ZURPG is on vacation. By that, I mean I'm on vacation from ZURPG during that time.

Things should stabilize after Christmas, and I should have HD ready by then, so the start of January is what I'm aiming at now. Hopefully, it does not receive another delay, and quite frankly, there's plenty of time at this point to pull things off without much rush.
