Where do I start? - WindStrike - 09-23-2011

After reading what ZURPG is, please register to the site and create a login name for yourself. It only requires a Username, Password, & Email Address. Once you do, you'll need to validate your account by clicking the link sent to your email. Then you should be able to post on the site!


Up next, you'll need to set up your Character Profile. This thread should be able to take you through the steps to do so.


Once that's done, you'll be ready for the Combat Tutorial, which will teach you the basics to the game and get you oriented with the combat system. The tutorial shouldn't take longer than a session's length or less, and for that reason, you may be paired with other new players, in order to teach you all at once rather than one at a time. To set up a time, head over to the IRC Channel, which is #zurpgchat at the server irc.lunarnet.org, and then poke WindStrike about it. If you don't know how to do this, check out the IRC Tutorial (for HexChat).

    • You'll have to activate the account yourself via email. If you're having problems with this, go to the IRC channel and bug WindStrike or Sephiroth about it. Keep in mind that might not always be around, so a response won't necessarily be instant.

    • You're welcome to read this ahead of time, but you'll need to run through it with WindStrike before you're cleared to join in on any quests.
