Spy Versus Spy - AnubianDragon - 09-10-2012

This is a forum game I tried somewhere else that didn't work out (It was called Nth Agent there, which could explain why it didn't grow at all. The title sort of drove people off)

Anyway, this game is about spies that work as agents, double agents, triple agents, and so on. Each poster explains how the previous post was just a ruse for the other side. For the purposes of distinguishing sides, we'll use the fictional agencies of Control and Kaos (From the Get Smart TV show).

Here's an example to get started:

1st Post
Agent Thomas of Control is sent out to purchase a hair dryer for another Control agent.

2nd Post
But Thomas was actually working for Kaos, and the hair dryer has faulty wiring.

3rd Post
But the dryer is really part of a plan to blow the fuse at Kaos headquarters.

4th Post
But Kaos knows about this, so they've decided to switch the faulty model for a functional one.

5th Post
But Control was counting on this, so they sent Thomas to cut the power manually (Which is probably what they should have done in the first place.

6th Post
But Kaos was counting on this, so they placed an assassin in the power room to do away with Thomas.

7th Post
And this has gotten to complicated for me, so the assassin succeeds.
Agent Jim...

So basically, the idea is to turn the post above yours into a double-cross.

Here's one to start with:

Agent Young of Control was sent to work as a hot-dog salesman in a Kaos resort.

RE: Spy Versus Spy - WindStrike - 09-14-2012

(I've never seen Get Smart, so unfortunately, I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'll give it a shot anyways. I do like the concept though. Reminds me of those battles of me vs. Paranoia.)

Young ends up getting poisoned by eating a hotdog early. Kaos knew about Young and poisoned all of the hotdogs ahead of time while advertising to Control about the hotdog resort.

(Yeah, I have no idea really, but keep it going, I'll see if I can get the hang of this.)

RE: Spy Versus Spy - AnubianDragon - 09-15-2012

(You're doing fine)

But being poisoned was all just a ruse, for Young had known of Kaos involvement and prepared antidote relish!

RE: Spy Versus Spy - WindStrike - 09-16-2012

Unfortunately for Agent Young, Agent Old got into the antidote stock before him, which resulted in the antidote relish being expired.

Apparently, Agent Old no longer knows what side he's on anymore. Or does he?

RE: Spy Versus Spy - AnubianDragon - 09-17-2012

But Kaos suffered the same downfall for utilizing agent Old, for his old man stench overpowered the poison and made it harmless.
